Concept of Understanding God

Greetings Visitors,

The Concept of understanding God and his nature is completely different and not an easy job. We have certain points to follow before that. Let’s view some of them:

1. It is necessary to follow our OBLIGATIONS and visit Holy places Mandir, Masjid, Gurudwar or other place of worship. But the fact is that God is always inside us, who differentiates the Good from Evil.

2. Read Holy and Religious books. Find videos and books about many different Faiths and Religions in your local library or bookstore or in the Internet.

3. Do not turn off your brain. Faith can be reasonable and rational. Faith is different from superstition. As a seeker, you will be looking for reasons for your faith, for truth about spiritual matters, and for your own evidence of a divine being. Be open-minded about the supernatural, without being gullible.

4. Start your search with an open mind. Examine documents that support faith in God. Be cautious of people or organizations that mock God and faith or that professes to possess the only truth about God.

5. Choose a person of good faith. Ask them to give you direction. This does not need to be a pastor, saint or Maulana. Simply ask someone that you respect for their personal convictions.

6. Compose questions for your search:
·         Is there a God?
·         What are the attributes or characteristics of the nature of God?
·         How is an infinite being revealed to mortal men?
·         What is God's assessment of mankind?

7. Speak to God. Most religions and people recognize prayer as a basic function of faith. Tell God about your quest and your reasons for choosing to become a seeker. Ask God for help understanding His ways and truth while seeking God.

8. God may be in plain sight. One reason you may find yourself looking for God is that, your God is all you have ever seen, from day one, all around you. There is a very illustrative story that likens a man searching for God to a fish in the ocean searching for the sea. Is it truly possible to search for something that you cannot lose?

9. Be ready to discard notions you may have of the nature of God. It has been said that in order to find God, one must give up on one's human, finite concept of ‘who and what God is’. Using your finite mind to try to grasp infinity is like asking a fish to swallow the oceans of the world. You're bound to find something you aren't 100% ready for. If you don't, you're not being honest with yourself in your search.

10. Be ready to look outside of one organized denomination. ‘Religion’ and ‘God' are not the same thing. Their relationship is akin to the relationship between brand-names and others. When you hear one brand, you may automatically think of details - but it isn't necessary to decide on a denomination/brand (to find God).

Consider reading the holy books that are referred to as being or containing the word of God as pinned by Prophets (P.B.U.T) and Apostles (followers) of God, for example the Holy Qur’an is a collection of such writings.

Greetings to the visitors...

"When we will achieve peace with ourselves individually and with our surroundings, together we will reach world peace."

Essence of Life.
What is this Essence of Life?
Aaaah... mankind's most unanswered question, why are we here?, what is our purpose?
There are many answers to this question. But only one true yet false answer.

It is the study of general and fundamental problems, such as those connected with reality, existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind and language.

I believe it encompasses never ending experiences.
Searching & questioning through past and present lives, the answers to which, each of us will find in our own timescale.
Ultimately bringing us an understanding of the "bigger" picture and our place within it.

The big question: Why did the God create Human beings?

Answer: Creation, strengths and weaknesses of human beings are present in this verse of Holy Quran.

002.030 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I will create a vicegerent on earth." They said: "Wilt Thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood?- whilst we do celebrate Thy praises and glorify Thy holy (name)?" He said: "I know what ye know not."

Al-Qur'an, 002.030 (Al-Baqara [The Cow])

- God create human beings.
- Strength is humans are vicegerent of God on earth.
- weaknesses are mischief and bloodshed of humans.
